Support & FAQ

Answers to common questions about Raykin. If you can’t find what you need, write to us. A person reads every message.

Contact us

Email [email protected]. We answer in English or Vietnamese, usually within 48 hours.

The easiest way is Settings › Contact Support in Raykin. It starts an email with your app version and device already filled in, and nothing else is attached.

Please never send us patient images, reports or medical details. We don’t need them to help you: if a file won’t open, just tell us the reason Raykin shows.

About your results

Raykin is for viewing and organising your own medical images. It is not a medical device, not intended for diagnosis, treatment or clinical decisions, and does not replace your doctor or the hospital’s official report. Measurements and 3D views are approximate. Always ask your doctor about your results. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Getting your scans in

I have a CD, but no CD drive.

You have three options. Insert the disc into a Mac with a disc drive and open it with Raykin for Mac, which copies the disc first; you can then send the scans to your iPhone or iPad with Nearby Transfer. Or ask the hospital for the scans on a USB drive, as a ZIP file or as a download link. Or copy the whole disc to a USB drive on any computer, then open that drive in Raykin.

A file won’t open.

Open Import › Import Doctor in Raykin. It lists each file that wasn’t imported, with the reason. Viewer programs and other non-image files from discs are skipped on purpose. If the reason isn’t clear, write to us and include the reason or code that Raykin shows, but please don’t send the images themselves.

The hospital gave me a QR code or a link.

Choose Import › Scan QR Result and point the camera at the code, or open the link. Raykin opens the hospital’s page inside the app and saves what you download to your device automatically. The hospital’s own website and privacy policy apply to that page.

Viewing and sharing

How do I share scans safely with a doctor?

Open the visit, tap Share Safely and choose “A doctor (second opinion)”. This uses Clean Share (Raykin Pro): it removes names, IDs, birth dates and hospital details from a copy and shifts the dates. It then flags images that may have text burned into them. Check each one and cover the text before you continue. Send the ZIP, images, video or second-opinion PDF packet by AirDrop, email or a USB drive. Your originals never change.

Can Raykin tell me what my scan shows?

No. Raykin is for viewing and organising, not for diagnosis. The Series Explainer and the glossary explain what a type of series or a word means, not what your result means. Your doctor and the hospital’s official report are the place for that.

Why does my Apple Watch show “Visit” instead of the exam name?

To protect your privacy, the Watch, widgets and Lock Screen hide names and exam titles by default. To show them, turn on Settings › Privacy & Lock › Show details on Lock Screen, Watch & widgets.

Your devices and your data

How do I move to a new iPhone, iPad or Mac?

Open Raykin on both devices and keep them close together. On the old device, go to Settings › Transfer & Backup › Send to Another Device. On the new one, choose Receive, then scan the QR code shown on the old device or type the 27-digit code. Nearby Transfer is end-to-end encrypted and stays on your local network. You can also export a Raykin Archive, protected by your passphrase, and open it on the new device.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Raykin has no account and no servers, and it contains no analytics or tracking. Your scans are processed and stored on your device, and we never receive them. They leave the device only when you share them, when you send them with Nearby Transfer, or as part of your device’s own iCloud or Finder backup. You can keep scans out of that backup in Settings › Import & Storage.

How does the Face ID lock work, and what if I forget my passcode?

Raykin’s lock uses your device’s own Face ID and passcode, so there is no separate Raykin password to remember or reset. If you forget your device passcode, follow Apple’s instructions for your device to reset it.

How do I delete everything?

Go to Settings › Import & Storage › Delete Everything. It erases your whole Raykin library from this device and cannot be undone, so you may want to export a Raykin Archive first. Files you have already exported or shared are separate copies and are not affected.

How do I change the language?

In Raykin, go to Settings › Language and choose one of 12 languages. Raykin switches straight away, and your device’s own language stays as it is.

Which devices does Raykin work on?

iPhone with iOS 26 or later, iPad with iPadOS 26 or later, Mac with macOS 26 or later, and Apple Watch with watchOS 26 or later.

Purchases

I bought Raykin Pro, but it isn’t unlocked.

In Raykin, tap Restore Purchases in Settings or on the Raykin Pro screen, signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy. Offer codes can be redeemed with Redeem Code on the Raykin Pro screen.

Is there a free trial?

No, but you can try every Pro tool free on the built-in sample family before you decide.

Does Family Sharing work?

Family Sharing is available for the Lifetime purchase: it is shared with your Family Sharing group. If Pro doesn’t appear for a family member, they can open Raykin and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device, go to Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, choose Raykin and cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Raykin Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t issue refunds ourselves, because we never see your payment.
